1932 'DH Special' Roadster
This ZZ 502 big block powered "full throttle" SO-CAL Speed Shop built deuce roadster runs a 700R automatic transmission and a Currie 9” rear end. The paint scheme is all SO-CAL except for the colors which are reminiscent of 1930’s pylon air racers. Touches of aircraft styling are found throughout the car and it is detailed to the max.

• ZZ 502ci, dyno'd at 580 hp and 620 lb-ft of torque
• GMPP aluminum oval-port heads
• Hydraulic roller cam with Intake- .527“ lift, Exhaust- .544” lift
• 870 Holley, Moon Finned valve covers and air cleaner
• Sanderson Headers lead to custom exhaust
• B&M prepped 700-R4
• Currie 9” has 3.73:1 with Traction Lock & nodular iron gear case
• SO-CAL Speed Shop frame and components
• Mullins Vega-style steering box
• Magnum '40 Ford style spindles, SO-CAL brakes, Faux Buick drums
• 2 sets of wheels, Halibrands 15x5-1/2" front, 15x10 back. 16-inch steels with '46 Ford caps
• Wescott fiberglass body, Rootlieb hood with louvers and hand crafted steel clearance blisters
• PPG Jet Black and School Bus Yellow with pinstriping by Dennis Ricklefs
• Garrett Distressed leather stitched by Gabe's Auto Upholstery, '58 Davis Aircraft seatbelts
